Chinese Whale Farm – Prospect Magazine
This illustration was for prospect Magazine. A brilliant short story by Xiang Zuotie. A dark, but witty satire on Modern China. It is called Rasing Whales and uses the whale as a metaphor for the growing chinese economy. A rural village slowly runs out of containers to house its growing whale farm. It is surreal and brilliant!
